Kuo Kau's Zodiac transparent playing cards come in 3 different ornate and intricate pattern designs. 12 zodiac signs and the circular astrolabe are painted in the middle in opaque material, which not only bring a calm and harmonious spirit, but also cleverly cover up the suits and numbers on the card faces. We replace the traditional patterns of J, Q, and K with specially designed colorful illustrations of the constellations, so that the suits and the card back patterns can reflect and illuminate each other.
The outer edge comes in 3 different designs to convey different sublime aesthetics. One is rendered in dark blue with a galaxy pattern, representing the starry sky that silently twinkling above you whenever you look up. Another one uses transparent plastic to create the effect of stained glass in an old church; its rich colors under different lighting show beautiful colored light and shadow. The last one is mainly in elegant plain colors, indicating the sense of meditation and transcendence in mandala paintings.
