Spanish Plastic Playing Cards - 50 Cards

Kuo Kau launches the new Spanish-suited playing cards! With rich colors and iconic suits, the 40-card and 50-card decks present the exciting card game from Spain that adventurers and pioneers favor.

A century-old legacy of Latin American culture

Since its invention, playing cards have evolved in various countries according to regional cultures and nationalities. Spanish cards, also known as naipes, juego de cartas or barajas de cartas, have four suits: espadas (swords), copas (cups), oros (coins), and bastos (clubs), as well as numbers from 1 to 12. The suits correspond to the standard spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs, while the numbers also include sota (jack), caballo (knight), and rey (king), similar to the J, Q, and K. A stripped 40-card deck will lack ranks 8 and 9.

In addition, notches are drawn on the outer lines of the main patterns to make it easier for players to distinguish the suits. Kuo Kau introduces Spanish cards in 40-card and 50-card versions and plastic and paper materials, forming a total of four to expand the gaming horizon for players from countries deeply engaged in the poker culture, such as Latin America, Europe, or other countries.
Features
Exciting and interesting tavern games

When speaking of Spain, one thinks of pioneers and mariners. After the whole day’s labor, in the tavern, people play card gambling games with luck factors to excite their minds and relieve their fatigue. The most representative of these games is Spanish cards.

The most common Spanish card games are Brisca, Julepe, and Escoba. Brisca is a game where the trump cards are decided and exchanged for the highest score. Julepe is a game in which the trump cards and the dealer are selected before bets are made. Escoba is a game where the scoring goal is achieved by matching pairs. All three games have in common that they all rely heavily on the luck of the opening hand to determine the game flow, thus making the game more unpredictable.

Discover Spanish cards through classic patterns

There are nearly 10 common patterns on the face of Spanish cards, and what's more interesting is that the local people are very familiar with all the patterns! The Spanish card decks produced by Kuo Kau use the Castilian pattern, adding a new and playful design to the tuck box while inheriting the traditional local motif.

The combination of the queen's head and the gold coin symbolizes the gorgeous and noble power. The "ghost face spitting fire" graphic, usually hidden in the lower half of the card, now becomes the main character on the other side of the box, spitting out flames to make the cards jump and burn. The base colors are green and brown, just like Latin America's primitive and mysterious geography. Whether you are a regular Spanish poker player or have never seen Spanish cards, you will find a new and different experience in this game.
